Financial Policy

Policies for the Academy are posted on the Academy Website.
 
 
A.   Refund Policy for Leagues and Tournaments: Any teams or individuals wishing to withdraw from a league, tournament or event must do so in writing by emailing [email protected].
  1. For teams or individuals that register and pullout prior to the initial deadline for a league, tournament or other event, a refund less a $25.00 administrative fee will be granted. 
  2. For teams that cancel their registration after the registraton deadline no refunds will be issued.
  3. For teams that cancel their registration after the schedule is posted no refund will be issued and a $300 fee will be assessed to the team/club.
  4. No refunds will be issued for individuals cancelling their registration for an event, such as the Coaching Summit or an ID Camp. This includes individuals cancelling after the registration deadline or after the start of the event (if no deadline is posted).  Please refer to the cancellation policies for each event as there maybe a more detailed policy outlined for the event. 
  5. For tournaments with a guaranteed game minimum, if the game count is not met a partial refund will be issued. The amount of the refund will be determined by the Tournament committee upon conclusion of the tournament.
 
B.   Returned Checks: A $30.00 fee will be assessed for any returned checks.
 
C.   Late payments: At the time of league or tournament registration the team is committing to the full amount of the registration fee. For league play the PSPL grants a 10-day window for teams to make the full payment of the registration fee.
  1.  PSPL reserves the right to charge a $25.00 late fee to the registrant for any payments received after 10 days.
  2. Any team registrations that are not paid by the registration deadline will be invoiced and a 5% administrative fee will be added to the invoice.  For any payment that is over 30 days late, additional service fees may apply.
  3. Teams that are not paid in full by the start of league play shall forfeit their games until the balance is paid.  Once the balance has been paid, the games from the time of payment forward will be recorded as played.
  4. Any teams that do not pay their balance two weeks into the season, may forfeit their spot in the league and will not be allowed to register for any future programs or leagues until all past balances have been settled. In addition, the team and its club shall be placed in bad standing which shall affect the ability of the club to register any other teams for PSPL programs or leagues.

D. Late Registrations:  Unless otherwise posted, any teams registering after the official deadline will be subject to a $50.00 per team late fee.

E. Timeline for Issuing Refunds:  Refunds may be issued after the conclusion of the league, tournament or event.
